Toga has a Yandere grin down to the T as well. It’s clear from the moment she’s seen her face in My Hero Academy. Himiko was one of the chief villains of the Arc Forest Boot Camp. She is also used as an adversary during the Provisional Hero License Exam Arc and the Shia Hassaikai Arc. Later, she became one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Force, an organization created by the remnants of the League and the Meta Liberation Force.

Kanato Sakamaki

He doesn’t understand human relationships so it is interesting how he interprets certain situations.

Himiko is a cheerful girl and smiles even after she has supposedly harmed people, displaying bad tendencies. However, she seems to stop smiling when she is bored or annoyed.

Himiko’s face is more often seen flushed out of joy than embarrassment, giving a consistent look of love. 

However, she has demonstrated that she can be easily embarrassed, for example, when she thinks people are coming on to her or when she is without clothing while dressing like the person she is transformed into.

Himiko is obviously mentally unstable and has a distorted view of love and friendship. She tried to befriend the two girls despite wanting to take the life of them, affectionately calling Tsuyu lovingly and referring to Ochaco in the first person as “lovely”.

— he immediately assumes something’s wrong with you when he sees you sniffling

— he asks you how you’re feeling, wanting you to tell him that you’re feeling sick

— he will bother you until you accept his help

— he dramatically says that sickness has taken over you and it was his duty as a knight in shining armor to help you

— due to the lack of his cooking skills, he orders you soup, while it won’t taste too good, he knows it’ll help soothe your throat

— this man gets so clingy when you’re sick, not wanting to leave your sight

— he does the little things to make sure you’re okay, like not turning the ac too cold or not letting you sleep with too many blankets

— he takes (even more) days off of work to make sure you’re back to normal

— it’s easy for him to notice but he doesn’t put all the pieces together all at once

— once he sees you blowing your nose too many times he starts questioning asking if there’s anything he can do to help

— even if you say no, he doesn’t take his eyes off of you, paying attention to your sickness

— once he starts actually helping you, he’ll be as attentive as he’s ever been, remember when he looked at a pile of ants for 8 hours in the manga, yeah well imagine that but with yourself

— knowing this man, he most definitely gave you many concoctions of whatever the hell was in the kitchen, surprisingly one if his concoctions work, and that’s lemon with honey

— he’s also one clingy man when you’re sick, and since he’s not naturally clingy like dazai it’s a bit more relaxing rather than overbearing

— though there are some weird moments where you’re on the toilet and tecchou is sitting on the counter, making sure absolutely nothing happens to your delicate state

— he physically can’t take any days off of work due to him being a hunting dog but he always makes sure to call you to check up on you

— i feel like tecchou doesn’t get sick often and when he does he toughens it out, but with you, he acts as if it’s in your everyday life

— overall sick experience is 9/10, only semi negative part about him is his odd concoctions but other than that he’s such a caring bf

Fyodor Dostoyevsky :

— he doesn’t realize that you’re sick as he’s consumed into his work

— but when he starts seeing you hoarsely cough and repeatedly trying to clear your throat, he demands to know if you’re sick

— he won’t do much himself to help you out but he has ivan supervise you

— with ivan taking care of you he’s sure you’ll be in better condition soon, after all you’re in the best care (that he can find and trust)

— in the few moments he’s actually with you, he brings you some ginger tea, it was the least he could do he supposes

— he won’t cling to you, he’ll proceed as normal, besides his immune system is already weak as it is, he doesn’t want to get sicker by sharing germs with you

— surprisingly this man occasionally babies you when you’re sick, well babying you is too extreme, it’s more like condescending word play, calling you stupid in a soft tone

Misa Amane is probably the first Yandere for us. You know, that’s because, for most of us, Death Note was the first anime.

And to be honest, I am happy that Misa was my first Yandere experience. Misa Amane is the main female in the Death Note franchise and is in absolute love with Light.

This is not a spoiler because Misa confesses to Light right after their first meeting.

So yeah, don’t worry about spoilers. What you do need to worry about is Misa herself.

Because let me warn you, if you are any close to Light, you are bound to experience Misa’s anger.

And that will be lethal. Because Death Note is a strong weapon.

Medusa

In disguise, Medusa is kind and supportive. Yet she is dishonest and heartless in true nature. Mother to Crona and witch, she manipulates Crona to think that it’s okay to take whatever soul they wanted, and also goes as far as putting a spell in Crona ‘s head whenever Crona starts to disappear. She lives in Shibusen as a nurse and tutor, but she does so in order to gain access to documents and to research the students to see how Kishin, the demon gods, would become. She’ll use anyone and any way to do what she wants, and she won’t feel anything as she does. She’s very scary when not in costume, and she’s got thousands of snakes ready to follow her orders, all concealed in her body.

If you’re like me and prefer deconstructions of yandere or tragic yandere to straightforward ones, this lesser-known example is for you. Ringo Oginome starts as a seemingly straightforward stalker with a crush.

Then her reasons for acting like this are revealed, and they are heartbreaking. Ringo won’t let anything stand between her and what she wants, which makes it all scary – and, due to Penguindrum’s nature, surreal. Really, her character is an intellectual exploration of being a yandere for something the object of her desire represents, rather than for him as a person and, philosophical anime have always been my weakness.

Rena Ryuugu

– Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni – When They Cry

Without revealing too much of the plot, Rena is one of the main characters in “Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni”. In some scenes, her Yandere traits are visible – being quite murderous and almost like in a trance. She isn’t the only character with a Yandere personality in anime and it is anything but boring. Her behavior and those of her friends are explained with the Hinamizawa Syndrome. It is a syndrome where a host suffers from a fictional organic brain disease. And it is only present in the Hinamizawa residents. Those with named Syndrome tend to scratch their throat, going up to the point where they hurt themselves to the extent of bleeding out. Let’s just say things get out of hand once there is a hatchet in Rena’s hands.

Yandere is a term used in anime and manga to describe characters who are obsessively in love with someone to the point of mental and sometimes physical harm.

Some people just want to see a tough, independent woman who is completely devoted to her partner, and see themselves as that person being devoted to someone like a self-insert protagonist. They’re attracted to Yanderes for their physical beauty and character complexity, rather than because they’re psychotic and often tough.

Yandere is a Japanese term for a person who is intense in their love for someone, often to the point of obsession. While typically associated with anime and manga characters, it seems that yandere can exist in real life too. This was seen recently when a Japanese Twitter user made a post about their experiences with a real-life yandere.

There are definitely some good points to the yandere archetype, even though they are often portrayed as dangerous or unhinged from reality. Asa and Kaede are friends, but Kaede’s boundaries were pushed when Asa and Rin went on a date. Kaede hits Asa smashing her against a wall that triggers a heart attack.
